世界的な新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響で、映画祭史上初の延期開催となった「Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2020（SSFF & ASIA 2020）」。

コロナ禍においてもエンターテインメントの灯を消さないために、私達は「（ニュー）ボーダレス」をテーマに掲げ、リアルとオンラインのハイブリッド開催というショートフィルムを通じて世界と繋がる新しい形の映画祭を実施いたしました。

パンデミックという未曽有の状況化にもかかわらず映画祭が開催できたのも、偏にいつも応援してくださるご来場者の皆様、ご協賛いただいた企業団体の皆様、サポートいただいた関係各所の皆様、そして映画祭ボランティアの皆様のお陰です。本当にありがとうございました。

SSFF & ASIA 2020 was postponed for the first time in our history due to the spread of the Coronavirus around the globe.

In order to keep the alive the flame of visual entertainment in this Coronavirus world, we implemented a hybrid film festival with the new theme of “(New) Borderless” and held our short film festival both in live in venues as well as online.

That we were able to hold the festival in this unprecedented pandemic was made possible by the unfaltering support of our festival attendees, the many companies & groups who sponsored our festival, the support from all the festival related organizations, and last but not least all the wonderful volunteers. Thank you very, very much.
